This was one eventful week!!Well to begin on Monday we had a great lesson to begin with theTowrys. Brother towry has been coming to church and said he wants toget back in so he can be worthy to baptize his daughter who is 6.WAHOO!! He really wants this for him and his family. It's great to seethat change in him. Then after we went over and visited Shirley and Richard Davis. Weshared pictures of the temple to Richard, Shirley is a member, justless active. We actually committed Richard to baptize his dad, whodied, in the temple............. But we never committed Richard tobaptism........... So that's our plan for tonight!., haha we walkedout we were like "how did that happen?" Haha kinda funny.Josh our investigator came back from Florida and told us he drank, andsmoked, and passed out on the beach and stuff. So That made me sad. Wetaught him about Mosiah 18, the waters of Mormon and he priesthoodauthority. He said on the way back on the airplane it had a lot ofturbulence, and so he got out his gospel library app on his phone andread the Book of Mormon and that comforted him. That made me feelbetter about his trip to Florida! We are still working with him and heis progressing slowly.Shirley and Reeda are someone we tracted into and we have been goingover. Reeda is very interested. She just had a knee replacement, soshe is home bound. But she is progressing slowly and we are sograteful. We drove clear out to Carthage and Elwood this week. We had a referralwho wanted a free bible 38 Miles one way. So we made a trek! Haha it'sso fun to see the small towns here. All the people are so humble andfriendly. I love it!We were over visiting some people and we were walking up to thisapartment door and I saw this guy couldn't start his car, so I waslike hey can we jump start you? And we had cables, so we started himup and I was like can we come back and teach you about our message? And he was like yeah that's fine! Wahoo. Then this morning i prayed tostill have a missionary opportunity even though we have p day. So wego to walmart and come out and again this girl tried to start her carbut it wouldn't turn over. So awkwardly I was like hey we have cables, can we jump it? Haha she and her husband were like yes! I gave them apass along card and said to add us on Facebook. I am so gratefulHeavenly Father is letting us have simple opportunities to share thegospel. I believe that the jumper cables in the car aren't for us,they're for when we need to jump start people who are ready to hearthe message. We played volleyball with the young women on Wednesday and there werea couple nonmembers there so that was great. Then got Mexican icecream. This week we also got in a car accident. Our poor cute car. We justgot done seeing Sue Tribble and I just said "let's go to sonic and geta drink" I was like what the heck? I never want to stop. Even sisterTenney was like woah you just said that, it wasn't me! So then I waslike well I'm not even thirsty and if this next appointment fallsthrough then we should. So she agreed to that. We had just come to a 4way stop and we had stopped. And we started to go through and I lookover and this old lady in a red car didn't stop at the stop sign. SoBOOM we t-boned her car... She was born in 1929, she was 85 years old.It was so weird. It was like slow motion. We barley missed hitting theactual lady. So I just got out because we were both fine and the airbag went off in the ladies car, we couldn't even get her car dooropen. She was bleeding. It was so sad. Next thing we know we got cops, ambulances, and fire trucks all coming over. They actually had us getin the ambulance to check our vitals and to cool off. They had to fillinformation out as well. I AM STILL SO MAD. because I feel like Itotally failed the test. The Holy Ghost tried to help us with tellingme to go to sonic. Ugh. That was not a fun call to the AP's... OrElder Johnson the vehicle coordinator.... or President Andersen. Thecar is fine, the hood and bumper just need to be replaced. I feel likethat crash was all my fault. But after we went to sonic. On Saturday Sister Gregory picked us up and took us all the way out toher house to help paint her daughter Emma's room. Their receptionisn't good out there, small town probs, but then we saw we had avoicemail from president saying I needed to call him back. So I didand he asked me to train a new missionary..... I'm going to missSister Tenney. She is totally different than me but she has been mybest companion. We were kinda down after that... I'm not sure why Iwas called as a trainer because I'm still trying to figure out thiswhole mission thing!! One of the elders is going to give me a blessingtonight, so that will be great. The rest of the time we were just saying goodbye to people andpacking. I really have learned so much from sister Tenney. She hastaught me the little things don't matter, and to just find joy fromyour mission. You can work hard and have fun.Well time for a new chapter in my mission. I am grateful for thethings I have learned so far. I can't believe I am almost half waydone. I still have a lot to learn. I finished reading the Book ofMormon again in 2 transfers with the whole mission. I just can'texpress my love for that book. It's amazing!! It's so easy to testifyof. Why wouldn't people want more knowledge about Jesus Christ? I amgrateful for all the love and support you all give me. I pray dailyfor you all. Thanks for being such great examples! Pray for missionaryopportunities, they do happen!! I LOVE YOU!In the ambulance after the car accident!
