Well this was a great week!!To start off we had a FHE with the Towrys, less actives, and wewatched the restoration and talked about that. The grandma who is nota member said she will pretty much join if they decide to come back. Her only concern is that when we take the sacrament it's not actualred like the blood. She was like use cool aid or something, so we'reworking on that! Then I went on an exchange with Hermana Rich to Goodletsville //Madison! It was so fun. Even though I can't speak Spanish... Iunderstood some of the words. It's so cool to think that Macey isteaching people and speaking with the gift of tongues. Made me reallyappreciate her! But we had some great experiences. I love the peoplewho are humble and so willing to listen to our message! There was thislittle girl, Zhay, she is 9 years old, and her mom is in jail and shewants to be baptized. So she is waiting for her mom to get out to bebaptized! It was the cutest thing! We taught her on the porch. Lovethat girl. Then on Thursday we had a Zone Meeting in Madison. I love being backin my old zone! A lot of the people I know are in it! But we had somegreat training, they always get me so excited to go out and work! Also we had a GREAT lesson with Josh! So we had him come to thechurch. 1. Because he can't get Sundays off, so he has never come tochurch. 2. We have to have lessons on his porch because we don't haveanother person and it's getting hot! So we took him around and showedhim all of the rooms and also all the pictures and what they meant. Weended in the chapel, and we talked about the sacrament, and why it'simportant to be baptized and take the sacrament. He loved that! Weleft him to pray and have faith that Heavenly Father will change hishours for work, or he'll be promoted, or get a new job. Every time Isay a prayer I make sure to include that! So please pray Josh will getSundays off somehow!! Also there was a member with us, SisterWestbrook, they clicked so well! She even invited him over for dinner, and for FHE sometime! Members are SO important. It was amazing. Wewere actually suppose to do the church tour a day before but joshcanceled on us, we had a different sister coming with us. We know whyit was suppose to be canceled, because Sister Westbrook was so perfectfor him!We are suppose to tract an hour a day, and we'll receive so manyblessings from it. Even though it's hot and I have sweat running downmy back and my hair goes curly and frizzy, there's just somethingabout testifying of our savior and the restored church on the earthagain. I use to hate tracting, but now I can hardly wait to see whatthe next person is going to be like, or what church they go to. Thenit really makes it special when you are able to hand them a Book ofMormon and they accept it! We usually have maybe one person like thatduring our hour of tracting. Our teaching pool is getting a lotbigger, and we are finding those elect and prepared people. I LOVEBEING A MISSIONARY.Also on Sunday our ward mission leader// gospel principles teacher has8 kids, and he left the youngest at home on accident. When he wentback home to get her he said how she had tears in her eyes but shejust had a big relief smile of knowing her dad was there. Then he saidhe thinks that's what it's going to be like when we see our fatheragain. I don't know why that hit me so hard, but I am so excited tosee my father again.Random thing that happened, we were driving back from Hartsville, andwe saw a turtle and almost hit it! So we hurry and pulled over andsaved it. So that was neat. HahaWe also had to teach the 6-7 year old Primary class... That wasinteresting! Haha they are crazy. I loved it though:)Then we had to drive out to Hartsville to try a referral. When we gotthere, the lady wasn't there. But her neighbors were and they weresome black ladies with their kids just sitting on their porch. Westarted to talk to them, and they said they knew a little about ourchurch and "our bible" (the Book of Mormon) so I was like well "ourbible" is another testament of Jesus Christ, and explained that heappears to the people in America. They loved that! Haha so we gavethem all their own copies, and they were so excited. Seriously that isthe best. I love when people are excited because it gets me excited!!Transfer calls were this last Saturday, and I'm staying with SisterTenney! I'm excited. I really like working with her. We are workingtogether on building the ward, our teaching pool, and our testimonies. This last week, right before Zone Conference I finished the Book ofMormon. I LOVE THAT BOOK. I know I keep talking about it. But there isjust no one that book isn't true. It makes me want to share it witheveryone else! Thanks for all the love and support! Keep sharing the gospel withthose you love! I love you all!Question of the week: Do we know if those in the premortal life caninteract with those in the spirit world? I've been thinking aboutthis! And everyone I ask doesn't know. So family! Do some research andlet me know what you find out:)Sister Gates:)Totally traced our ancestors back!! Cool huh?
