Another great week!!
Monday Sister Jensen took us to get fabric and we mad skirts! It literally took all day!! But it was fun.
Then Tuesday we had to go downtown because Sister Oldroyd had a doctors appointment. So we went to the Pancake Pantry for lunch. Then after stopped and saw the Parthenon, it was right next to centennial hospital. After everything aligned perfectly! So we both decided we needed to tract these certain apartment complexes. So we did. Second door was Carly. She let us in and we taught the whole restoration. She believed it could all be true. I think she teared up a couple times. She said she was looking for a church as well. Miracle.
Then from Tuesday night to Thursday morning I went on exchanges with Hermana Stricklin to Antioch (Providence C). I really respect all the missionaries who had to learn a language!! Haha it just confirms to me again I'm suppose to be English. But it was so great! I could pick out a couple words. I would nod my head like I knew what they were talking about and laugh when they would laugh. Haha they always asked if I spoke Spanish... I just went along with it!
Then Thursday we had district meeting and interviews with President Andersen. I sure love that man!! Sister Andersen is the best too!
So yesterday we didn't have p day so we decided to ride the bus to find. So we rode down town. Well I wanted to take a picture for a facebook post, so we stopped at the White Bridge. Walked up and asked this guy to take our picture. His name was Oscar! So nice. He took pictures from all different angles... Haha kind of an artsy guy. But then we gave him a BOM and said read this! Then he was like hey want to go to lunch? Sure! So we're down town. Eating pizza. With a complete stranger we just met. I love being a missionary!! Haha we talked all about the gospel. It was amazing. Such a blessing.
Then we were trying to catch the bus on the way back, but we kept missing it! So we were so frustrated. But we get on the bus, then all of a sudden this kid Tyler who we talked to before, and his friend John come up and talk to us. We find out John is a member of our church, just lives in a half way house right now. He remembered everything about the church! He was like bearing his testimony to his friend Tyler. That was a total miracle. Everything happens for a reason.
OH! We also we tracted into Kevin. Oh my Kevin. We sat there on his front door while he bashed for a good solid 30 minutes. He talked about how we believe in "human achievement" he asked if we believed if the Bible was the word of God. We said if it is translated correctly. He said that is a flow chart answer. hahah then he ended with "Well I guess we'll just have to see in Heaven who is right!" We gladly and proudly agreed. So please keep Kevin in your prayers. Bless his heart. He ruined our night. haha #southernprobs
Well I finished the Book of Mormon for the third time since being on my mission. I love the Book of Mormon. I love being able to testify of it each and every day.
"Without reservation I promise you that if each of you will observe this simple program, regardless of how many times you previously may have read the Book of Mormon, there will come into your lives and into your homes an added measure of the Spirit of the Lord, a strengthened resolution to walk in obedience to His commandments, and a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God” I love that quote by president Hinckley.
Read the Book of Mormon. The blessings do come.
Have a great week!!
Love you!!

That awkward moment when you walk 3/4 of a mile up a drive way to get to a
house we almost didn't go to because it was to far away... Then you
