This has been an amazing / crazy / emotional week!Well I've been in Nashville since Saturday! I'm with Sister Cook andwe're the STLs (sister training leaders). We take care of all thesisters in the zone and go on exchanges with them. So on Thursday atlike 4 president texted and said "Sister Gates will you please call mewhen you have a few minutes to talk." It's never good when Presidentcalls, so I hurry and call him back. He said Sister Cotton (mytrainer) is really sick, and she worked herself to hard but shedoesn't want to go home, so she is going to work in the mission offand he wanted me to go to Nashville and take her spot. It's not eventransfers! I seriously have no idea why he chose me because I'm stilltrying to figure out how to be a missionary. Let alone care for awhole zone of sisters! Me and Sister Svedin were freaking out. BecauseI am training her, so now another sister is coming in for the last twoweeks of the transfer and sister Svedin will take over the area.Crazy! I had to say goodbye to everyone. Do you know how hard thatwas? I bawled with everyone I said goodbye to. I was there for almost6 months, at the end of the transfer it would of been. So I had acouple days to pack up. Oh my gosh I have SO MUCH STUFF. On Saturdaymorning the Keefes drove us to the mission office and the new sisterwent with sister Svedin and they were off and I went with sister cook, said bye to sister cotton and we were off. So I'm in the Old Hickoryward, the sisters just barley opened Nolensville this transfer, andthat's inside the old hickory ward. We have some of Brentwood,Nashville, and Nolensville on the area we cover. The ward is AMAZING!We get there on Saturday and we stopped in to see Bishop Facer and hesaid the whole Nashville stake has a soccer team for each ward. (TheSpanish ward has 4 teams though haha) and he asked if we wanted toplay! Hahah so we did! They even have jerseys and all! It was awesome.Such great ward unity. Boy am I out of shape!! Then after we had ameeting with the Zone Leaders to discuss what we will do at ZoneMeeting. You know the new Meet The Mormons video coming out? We get towatch it early in a few weeks! I'm so excited! But it was good. Wehave a couple people with baptism dates so that is so dang exciting. The ward is so willing to do everything for and with the missionaries. It's amazing! We have some elders in the ward but they struggle. Sothey give all their referrals to us! It's kind of sad.We live in the nicest apartment in the whole mission. Were so spoiled,it has an amazing gym and all. Sister Cook is amazing. She goes homenext transfer. She is from Washington state. This week in Lebanon was great though! We had the relief societypresident come out with us and visit less actives she's never met, she's shy, so it was amazing. Then we helped the relief society withvisiting teaching routes. It's a good thing we came, because we seeall the people they have never meet. I really do love less actives. We found some wonderful people while tracting and were able to getreturn appointments and teach them the restoration. We did meet thisone guy though. I have NEVER had anyone tell me I have so wrongbefore. UGH. At first he said that we worship a light house and I wastrying to figure out what he meant... It was a temple he was referringto. Haha a light house? Oh my. Then he wouldn't even let us talk. Ihave never been so dang upset. He was completely yelling at us. Wetried to explain and he would yell more. We finally just walked awayand oh my. My testimony was tested then. Poor guy, I really feel badfor him.I totally believe The Lord chooses the week and simple. That's me! Ilove my mission more than anything. I know the blessings that comefrom serving. I never ever want to be the same as when I left. I justwant to change. I love the Book of Mormon. I love receiving revelationfrom it. I start my studies with a prayer and everyday I read heanswers my prayers. It's amazing! We also get to go to the temple thisWednesday and I'm so dang excited. I can hardly wait. I'm actuallygoing with my old zone, the one I just came from. So it will be so funto see everyone and sister Svedin!! My heart is just so full ofgratitude. Heavenly Father hears our prayers and answers them. I loveyou all! Have a great week:)Also! We can now check our emails during the week, president said it'sjust like getting mail. We just can't respond to them. So feel free toemail me anytime:)Sister GatesI bawled saying good bye to the Towrys!! I love them. Helped them get reactivated!
